Motorized Kit for your LEGO McLaren P1™ #42171

Two versions:

  • Classic Version: Supports installation after assembly, only requires disassembly of a small number of parts, supports remote control of tail wing lifting, does not support remote control of butterfly doors
  • Advance Version: Adopting a fully functional design that requires significant modifications, it is recommended to proceed during the assembly process. It supports remote control of the tail wing lift and butterfly door
  • In addition, if purchased with lighting, an exclusive developed control cable will be included as a gift, which can be linked to connect the power battery and lighting

Features:

  • Specially designed for post-assembly modification, it can be installed by simply disassembling a few parts.
  • Support remote control tail lift.
  • Parts of hand-customized motor, the metal parts are more durable, the torque is stronger, and the building block shell is more beautiful.
  • Precisely customized wiring, no extra length interference, specifically compatible.
  • Use genuine LEGO parts to modify to make your love set more pure.
  • Have high fun in assembling and modifying, and have a deeper understanding of transmission and car chassis

Excellent service

Had a problem with steering and I figured out the issue was the motor slipping in the pinion gear. The kit had 2 extra so I was able to fix. I emailed service and asked for 2 more and they sent with my next order. After I installed the light kit I tried installing the lego adapter harness and it damaged the smart creative module. Again I contacted service and I believe they will be replacing the smart creative module with my third order.

Motor is the main issue

Updated once again: Still with the standard, I've gone through about 3 motors. All though the rescue pack does its job, I think the main issue is with the motor itself. This particular L Motor is very powerful(which is good), but its too powerful for this kit and results in clicking of the gears due to the weight of the car. Everything else works fine, customer service is very good and great to work with.
