Try these quick checks:

Lift the front engine locomotive so the wheels are off the track — do they spin when you use the remote?
Slowly adjust both knobs; only one will control your connected motor.
Make sure all cables are in the right ports and fully plugged in.
Check if any gears or wheels are jammed.
If the wheels spin in the air but not on the track:

Make sure all wheels are correctly seated on the rails — even a small misalignment can add friction.
Replace or recharge the AAA batteries if power seems weak.
