A palace built out of ice and light
Frozen has been rebuilt in brick more often than any other modern Disney film, and 43244 is the smallest of the ice palaces, sold alongside the smaller Elsa builds rather than the display sets. The film came out in 2013, and the scene it keeps returning to is the one where a woman who has spent years hiding builds herself a castle out of the snow in the space of a single song.
The compact version of the palace: pale cyan walls, enough translucent blue in the upper sections that it reads as ice from any angle, and an open front instead of a walled one so the staircase and the lower floor show head-on. Disney Elsa's Ice Palace 43244 set is shallower than the larger ice castle and is built to sit on a shelf rather than to be opened.
The kit is built to light the material from inside. A pale cyan circuit runs behind the walls and up through the stairs so the transparent parts glow from within, while a warm circuit gathers at the entrance and the lower floor so the building reads as somewhere someone lives. The cold loop can run on its own for an unoccupied palace, and the warm one brings the entrance up when you want the building inhabited — there is no bright source in the open front, because that would turn an ice palace into a lamp.
Translucent walls are the constraint: a source outside the palace shows straight through, so everything sits inside the structure and behind the walls. It is the smallest model that still shows what a disney castle light kit can do with transparent brick, and the easiest entry to the legos disney princess and lego disney princess sets lines.
Especially for fans of Disney's Frozen and LEGO enthusiasts, including five characters including Elsa, Anna, Christopher, Olaf, and a little reindeer, it increases the fun of play and the possibility of role-playing. Through the refreshing ice blue color, especially ZENE Bricks' expertise, the success of using ice blue as the base color for the early Titanic 10294, as well as the use of ice blue as the engine color for many starships in Star Wars, has received a good response. This time ZENE Bricks uses ice blue LED combined with LEGO's own transparency effect to make the world of ice and snow more real and magical.
