A hundred years of Disney, lit
This ZENE Bricks for disney castle light kit is zoned rather than single-circuit. The gate, the tower windows, the courtyard and the interior rooms are each independent. The gate and base are set warm, because on a castle this tall the weight of the illumination has to sit low or the towers go thin, and warm and neutral sources are mixed deliberately — one colour temperature fights the pale stone and the blue roofs. Lit properly the front is dazzling without being harsh, and the rooms behind it stay readable.
In 2023 Disney marked a hundred years since the studio was founded, and the disney 100 lego range looked back across the whole catalogue instead of at any one film. The centrepiece of that range was 43222: a castle built at display scale from 4,837 pieces, with eight minifigures gathered on the base in front of the gate and a plaque marking the anniversary. The design borrows the many-turreted, steep-roofed castle that has sat on the Disney logo since the mid-2000s.
4,837 pieces, well over half a metre tall, and the largest Disney castle in the catalogue. A gatehouse and a long curtain wall lead back to towers that step and taper into spires on Lego Disney Castle 43222, the building opens at the back onto the rooms behind the front wall, and the eight lego disney minifigures stand on the base alongside the anniversary plaque rather than inside the castle.
Run the entrance at full output and hold the towers back, and the building reads as occupied rather than as a lamp; the plaque and the eight minifigures are deliberately left unlit so the stonework carries the light on its own.

Who doesn't love Disney, more parts than 71040, it brings a richer scene, we extended previous experience, better display details and effects, such as exquisite fireworks, heart-shaped arches, streetlights, spotlights, and also took care of the Christmas tree.
